Automatic 'Hostert Style' Hot Seal Film Sleever

Climax sleeving is the fastest, least costly and most protective automatic sleeving method available. The Climax Automatic “Hostert-Style” Hot- Seal Film Sleever meets or exceeds all of the above requirements.

The Climax Hot-Seal Film Sleever works like this: Automatic sleeving system concurrently feeds two rolls of anti-static sleeving foil, sandwiching the film; then the drive rollers pull it under the hot serrated sealing rings where the edges of the two foils are heat-sealed together completing the sleeving process which is then wound up by the take- up reel in to desired lengths.

The sleeving operation is accomplished as follows: The Climax Automatic Film Sleever is loaded with two rolls of Climax specially treated foil, each with the capacity of 6500 feet; enough to sleeve 2600 rolls of 120 film. A variable digital controller keeps the desired temperature by punching the 3 set buttons located below the LED readout, range +/- 5 degrees F.

The variable speed control can be adjusted from 0-110 feet per minute. The timing delay for end of film strip can be adjusted externally and as a new feature is connected by a Mod Pot™ to speed throughout. Once set in correlation at any time/speed, the two concentric knobs can be moved simultaneously up or down the entire speed range. This new feature saves set up time and sleeving by spacing film rolls closer together when sleeving multiple film rolls into continuous long rolls. Delay circuit makes sure that film does not remain under sealing head. The film roll sandwiched between the two foils and passing through the hot-seal sections are edge heat sealed along both edges by serrated teflon coated sealing rings running against a soft silicone sleeved contact roller. This results in a totally flat and continuous protective sleeve which is then automatically rolled up on the take-up reel.

This includes new bearings, heater assembly and digital controller and other required parts. We also completely test and calibrate the machine and include 2 rolls of sleeving and lubricant.
