Climax Photo and Digital
Our Company was born in 1987 as Climax, Ltd in San Marcos, California as a manufacturer of archival sleeving for the photo industry. As the Climax Ar-Kive sleeving became a standard of the industry, additional products such as film viewers and winders, light boxes and hot seal sleevers were added leading Climax to become a full service supplier to the largest professional photo labs in the country and Europe.
As the company's growth continued, a second location in Bristol, Tennessee was added to better serve Climax's east coast customers. After additional expansion in 2000, this site became the corporate headquarters and all manufacturing was relocated to Tennessee. While continuing to serve the professional photo lab market and the growing minilab segment, the product lines were also expanded to serve the advanced home enthusiast.
In 2003, ClimaxPhoto.com was expanded to include online ordering of all of the Climax product offerings. ClimaxDigital.com was created in 2005 to address the growing digital market as well as premium inkjet paper lines, wide format printers and ink, and digital camera accessories.
We are merged our two sites to create one full line offering here as Climax Photo and Digital. We look forward to the new year with continuing improvements and advances to this new site to better serve all of our customers.
