HARMAN PHOTO Professional Inkjet Paper

The real photo Baryta base gives true photographic weight
and feel to the paper. The imaging technology behind the paper has been

quality in terms of extensive colour gamut, excellent tones and archival
permanence properties.
Designed for digital fine art printing, HARMAN PHOTO Professional
Inkjet Paper is of exhibition and museum quality. The perfect
media for limited editions of giclee prints or archival prints. This Harman
Inkjet Paper is designed for use on all leading pigment and dye based
ink printers.
Harman Matte Fiber Base MP is an instant dry photo
paper with a silica coating for improved archival permanence. The baryta
layer gives the prints greater detail and definition, an extended tonal
range and the look and feel of real photographic paper. The specially
developed anti-curl system ensures the prints remain flat after printing.

I have just competed my first day of testing
this paper. Finally I have acheived the look that I had
back in my chemical darkroom days, before reactions to the chemical
in printing forced me to go digital. Thanks to Roy Harrington's
QuadToneRIP and my Epson 2200. I got acceptable results after the
conversion, but they fell short of my chemical prints when I printed
on air dried glossy paper.
My intial test of Harman's MATT FB MP paper with
its Baryta coating have now given me the look that
no other paper could. The blacks are superb, but most amazing
is the increase in sharpness when I printed the same image
on a other matt papers. I was some what dubious of the sharpness
claims in the press release, but I have no more doubts based on
these first tests.

HARMAN Technology Limited, the pioneering
professional imaging specialist, has introduced the first professional
inkjet media products to incorporate Baryta; an ingredient
used in the traditional photography process that has long been credited
with providing traditional photographic prints with their inherent
definition, tonal range and archival properties.

HARMAN began developing 100%
Baryta products, adapting the technology used in traditional
photography to create inkjet prints that shared the essence of real
photographic images. By doing this, HARMAN believes
it is ushering in the next stage of evolution for photographic inkjet
prints.

the fibre base of the new HARMAN inkjet media, lying
underneath the regular active and protective coating layers. The Baryta
